Life Insurance

Life insurance provides financial support to loved ones after the policyholder passes away. It ensures the people you care about the most are protected if something happens to you. It is an essential element of risk management and a vital part of financial planning.

It is important that your life insurance plan is custom designed for the needs of you and your family. There is no one size fits all solution. We will help you navigate the process of obtaining coverage and protecting your loved ones.

The two types of life insurance we recommend the most are Term Life Insurance and Guaranteed Universal Life Insurance.

The most popular and often least expensive type of life insurance is term life. It provides coverage for a specific period (e.g., 10, 20, 30 years). If the policyholder dies during this term, the beneficiaries receive the death benefit. Term life insurance is less expensive because it is not a permanent type of insurance.

If someone is looking for permanent life insurance coverage we often recommend Guaranteed Universal Life (GUL). Guaranteed Universal Life insurance is permanent life insurance that is often considerably less expensive than whole life or indexed universal life insurance. GULs can provide lifetime coverage with a guaranteed death benefit at a low cost of insurance. Unlike other forms of permanent life insurance, GULs do not focus on building cash value. They simply attempt to provide the highest death benefit and the lowest cost.

The amount of life insurance and type of coverage you purchase depends on many different things. Florida Retirement Planning can guide you through this process.
